Slap Happy: Adrian and Milo gear up on set

Not only are they brothers on set, but they act like brothers when getting ready to portray brothers, going as far as to smack the heck out of each other to gear up for their key scene in "The Eclipse Part 1."

Greg Beeman: "Milo and Adrian decided to pump themselves up for this scene by taking turns slapping each other on the back of the neck as hard as they could. I’m not sure how this brilliant idea got started, but I remember looking over and watching these two goofballs just smacking each other with all their might."

An apology from Tim Kring to the fans

As many of you know, Tim Kring said some things at a recent screenwriting conference that, well, seemed rather insulting to the majority of fans. Especially those of us that watch the show live as it airs as opposed to later on DVR or the internet. Some of us don't have DVRs or an internet connection that allows us to watch it online, and it seemed especially insulting to these faithful viewers.

Mr. Kring has now graciously and humbly apologized for his comments, and we thought it was important that his apology get as wide an audience as possible. Click the link for the entire letter.

Exclusive! Tim Sale interview part 2!

In this second and final installment, Tim talks about what it was like behind the scenes at Comic-Con, how he's approaching Captain America White, and... yes... he actually calls Milo "pretty" and "dreamy." I kid you not.

"Milo comes down at one point, also just to hang out, and I said, “What are you doing here?” And he said “Well, I’m supposed to be in the next scene.” But he never got in – the scene they were blocking out was when Tawny comes in and confronts Santiago, the first time we see him, and he’s destroying all the paintings, and he then explains everything. It was a pretty involved scene, and so Milo never got to film his scene that day. But he wants to be a director, he wants to be a producer, and he wants to write, as evidenced by Rest and stuff. He was interested in having a grounding in the craft of how these things get made. And I’m impressed. "

Exclusive! Tim Sale interview part 1

It's here! Our exclusive House Petrelli interview with Tim Sale, Heroes artist and staff artistic consultant. You've seen his work  throughout the series and additional promo art on lunchboxes, t-shirts and more.  In part one of our two-part interview, he discusses the recent Golden Apple signing with Milo for the comic Rest, his connections to Heroes, which "creepy" Petrelli he loves best, and who he can't draw enough of:

"Santiago actually came out to my studio and I talked to him a little bit. He started taking art classes and things like that. So I know that when I first saw [the pilot], I felt like I’d seen it a lot already, but that was only because I kind of immersed myself in the process. It was all fascinating to me. As a result, I never want to see anything before it’s on the air."

Exclusive! Jason Badower interview part 3

Here it is, the third and final part of our exclusive interview with Heroes graphic novel artist Jason Badower! Find out which Petrelli he loves to draw, which one is his favorite on the show, what it was like to walk around on the sets, and what he's up to next!

"See, Nathan’s one of the tough ones to draw, because while he’s had a lot of different looks also, he’s also had a lot of personality changes to go along with those looks, and so for me his character is a lot more amorphous and transitional, even though Peter has had this incredible character arc and has changed a lot as a character, I still feel that there’s a real A-B-C-D-E... there’s a real logical string to Peter’s arc, which I feel Nathan, by these events, has been really knocked around all over the place and doesn’t have as logical a character arc, and so I find him much tougher to draw because I’m not quite sure what I’m trying to communicate with his character."
