Exclusive! Robert Forster interview part 2!

In this second and final segment of our exclusive interview with Oscar-nominated actor Robert Forster, he discusses his acting technique, the perhaps unfinished circumstances of Arthur's death and his thoughts about some of his fellow Heroes actors:

"And then you get to the kids! And these are really attractive young kids, and that Milo, what a hard-working guy! He’s in there and working his stuff. Now, he’s one of the mainstays of the show, and he knows how things were done. And he would tell me how we do this and how we shoot the... what the hand motions are, because he thought ‘em out and they worked on them. And so I come along, I am the progenitor of these guys, and he reminded me of things that I needed to know about the powers. And as attractive kids, these guys are great. I’ve seen all their shows now. They carry off what a lead actor must on any show."

Exclusive! Robert Forster interview part 1!

We had the honor of interviewing the legendary Oscar-nominated actor Robert Forster, AKA Arthur Petrelli himself! He was absolutely delightful to talk to, and shared stories not just of what it was like to work on Heroes, but about his long and varied career in television and movies:

"I knew well that [Heroes] was a hit, a phenomenon of some sort, but I didn’t know much about it. So I had a long conversation with Tim Kring and Dennis Hammer. They had sent me some episodes in which the father was referred to, and I had a long talk with them trying to glean what kind of character this was. When I asked whether he was a good guy or a bad guy, there was a long pause..."

House Petrelli--fans leaving the show

Sad news today, everyone.

I've been keeping an eye on things in the fandom, and as of the most recent episode, we have lost three of our most prominent fanfic writers on the wee!Petrellis LiveJournal community due to them leaving the fandom.

Hayden hates the size zero ideal

The "Chrissy Fitness" blog, which focuses on "Exercise and diet for young women," features an article about Hayden's views on teen fitness and body image:

"The size-zero ideal is just ridiculous. The important thing is to feel comfortable with your own shape and not to look at others and feel inferior. It's tragic that girls feel they have to starve themselves to remain skinny."

Robert Forster and David Lawrence interviews!

This just in! NBC has granted permission for House Petrelli to interview David Lawrence (Puppetmaster) and Robert Forster (Arthur Petrelli)! Actors in particular have to go through NBC before they can be interviewed, and we're thrilled to have access to these great guys, each with a fascinating story to tell.

Submit your questions now! Interview dates and times yet to be scheduled, so get your questions in before it's too late!

Grunny TwitPics - Petrellis ahoy!

This seems outside the scope of House Petrelli, but it's really not -- Greg Grunberg frequently posts TwitPics (some of them of questionable merit). Today's tweet, however, includes a particularly choice shot (off set) of both Petrelli brothers, Grunny and Jack Coleman. One from a few days ago is pure Peter awesomeness and a total episode 318 spoiler. And it goes on and on!

More about Berserker from CBR

Comic Book Resources reveals a little bit more about Berserker, one of the comics in development by Milo and Russ' company DiVide, this one on the Top Cow label:

“The characters in ‘Berserker’ are descendants of Norse warriors called Berserkers. There is a pseudo-historical, kind of mythological legend about these warriors that, before battle they would just get so hyped up and so angry that they were unstoppable, but the downside of this is that in this rage-fueled power, they can’t really distinguish friend from foe.”
